1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Onward By Bryce So after a fairly long wait from the last book (comparatively) we get to see what Jack is up to. This book does a good job of showing more of the politics of the psych world and some of the things simmering in the background. The government is shown to a good degree and the possibilites on that alone going forward are interesting.I agree somewhat with the 3 star reviewer that the ending is hurt by Ethan. I dont mind him being the main POV for a bit, its more the time he got with the MOOD he set. For most of the book i was wondering what was going on or rather WHY it was but the reveal was a pretty big OOOOO, it just makes sense building off of the previous books.One of the things i missed/ have missed is there still isnt much with the previous characters like his old team. I understand the story moving forward and Jack growing but im hoping we see the people who knew him before see HOW much he has grown. This book has a good spread of characters some turn out looking good while others im not so wild about anymore.All in all i really enjoyed the book and tore through it in no time and hope we get at least mostly back to the small time frames between release dates. =)

Jack is back By harlock Jacks vision about birthing his group of foxes is finally taking place, but the world is a dangerous place and every birth comes with pains. The world of P.I.E is expanded upon as new organizations and individuals including how the goverment views psychs are introduced. The story is also expounded upon by having mutiple points of view Jack, Rex, Ethan, General Moore and others. As for the Reaper all I can say is WOW. Also events that took place in previous books are eluded to. I eagerly look forward for each new release of this excellent series it is one of my favorites. It has great characters, suprises and lots of heart.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. High praise for the foxes By nathan brochu This series is so refreshing compared to all the dime a dozen series out there. The humor is amazing. I loved the characters and their interactions with each other. Not to mention the story line is quite unpredictable. I highly recommend for all fans of the series and if your new to it to start from the first book.
