“Your name is Oi right?” whispers a voice. “Yes. Umm... are you a spy?” says Oi. “No, not a spy. I am not on a side here.” “Are you a Captain?” “Yes.” “I’m a Junior Officer.” “My name is Captain Jun.” “I am, well, I have no commission yet.” “What’s your name?” “Oi.” “I can commission you if you would like.” “You can do that?” “Yes. I believe the situation calls for it.” “Oh. What company are you with Captain? Are you with Captain William?” her voice breaks. “What’s the matter?” “I just. We were attacked on our way to Stone Brook.” says Oi. Her eyes begin to glass over. “I need you to focus Oi.” “Yes ma’am.” Nodding back to Captain Jun. “All right. Where did the guards go?” “I’m not sure. I didn’t notice until now Captain.” “They might not be here and then again they might just be listening in on us around the corner, so let’s keep our voices down for now.” “Captain where are we?” “Inside a cell. We should focus on getting outside.” “Yes Captain.” “First lets get these shackles off of me Oi.” “How do we do that? I have no idea how to unlock them Captain.” “Reach into my boots Oi. There should be a dagger in one of them, I don’t think they took it from me.” “All right Captain.” Oi reaches over to Captain Jun’s boots and starts feeling around for a dagger. She finds it, pulling it out slowly from out of the Captain’s boot. She holds it in front of her, looking over the fine engravings and small jewels as they glitter in the faint light. “Give it here Oi.” “Sorry. Here you are Captain.” handing over the dagger to the Captain. “Thanks Oi.” “Do you want me to remove my coat Captain?” “Yeah. I can’t really see anything in this light but every little bit helps.” Oi removes her jacket. There are several shackles and chains tied on the Captain. Oi did not notice them since there was so little light coming in. “Captain where are you from?” “I’m from Quarry.” She sticks the dagger into the lock, twisting it, turning it. The inside makes a click. “And which Company are you with Captain?” “Oi do me a favor and grab the lock with both your hands, I need you to squeeze and pull on it.” “Yes ma’am.” answers Oi. Grabbing the lock she begins to squeeze down on it. “Also need you to pull on it, so a back and forth motion.” “Oh.” The lock pops open. “That’s one down. Oi reach under me and take, well, unwrap this chain from the other two shackles, here.” says the Captain as she turns on her side. Oi pulls the chain from underneath her. “Be careful Oi, try not to make a sound. The guards could be back at any moment.” “Yes ma’am.” Oi gets the chain and places it on the floor. Captain Jun turns and sits up right in the bunk. She gets the dagger, leans over, and begins to work on the shackles on her ankles. “Where did you learn to do that Captain?” “Oh well this lock is an old lock, so it’s very easy to break if you have a rod small enough to jam into the chamber.” “Why are you in shackles Captain?” “My rank.” “Oh.” Captain Jun continues with her dagger.

Let me explain:I dove right in to the book and was thoroughly entertained right up to the very end, but I need closure. The sequel has not been released yet. I am experiencing the torturous yet delicious anticipation of the sequel. What will happen to my beloved characters? Will Oi and Captain Jun be ok? Where are the headed? What fate awaits them?I guess only time will tell.Mr. White if you read this, please release the sequel. Do you get some sort of sick pleasure out of torturing your fans? You sick SOB.
