Street I enjoyed the story but absolutely gutted to realise that it ground to a halt at 50% of the book - the rest being "To Kill For" which I had already read. Please, please can books start being published when they are completed, and not be misrepresented as full length novels?
4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Great Book That Abruptly Ends As A Cliffhanger!!! By Luvreading True Deceit is a compelling, fast-paced mystery thriller. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN, IT SAYS "THE END"! I was like " What?" Then it says: "Thank you and I hope you enjoyed True Deceit. True Lies, the next book in the series, will be out soon." This book's copyright is 2015. So I searched for True Lies and apparently it's not out. I'm not thrilled with a much-used practice of an author ending with a cliffhanger to help sales for their ensuing books. It was so aggravating. I admit, I have purchased the next book because I'm hooked and want to see what happens. But by the time this sequel is out, I'll have lost interest.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. It is a book of true deceit! By TT Well, whatever you think may happen in the book will not be how it ends up happening. Quick interesting read. It is the start of the series, and you can just read the one book and have closure to the mystery in this book, however there's an opening at the end that does pull you to read the next book.
