Hands down, Best AP US Review Book By Adam Norris As a third year AP US History teacher, I am constantly looking for any material that will help my students succeed. Over the past 24 months, I have bought 17 different review books (REA, Princeton Review, Barron's, etc.) This is the best that I have encountered, and it's not even close. I purchased this in March of 2012 and was amazed at how thorough the information is and how much material it covers. I immediately purchased 45 additional books for my two AP classes, so they could use prior to their exam in May of 2012. The students loved the practice questions at the end of each section, as well as the 100 multiple choice questions at the end of the book. My students averaged a 3.25 on the exam (a BIG increase from the year before), and everyone of them said this book was a large reason why they did so well. I am in my third week of a new school year and passed these books out to my new students to supplement their textbook, and many have told me what a great addition this book is. Whether you are a teacher or a student, this book truly is a MUST have. As someone who has seen and purchased many other books, I can assure you, this book will be incredibly beneficial. On a side note, the authors also created books for World History (Global in NYS) and US History (Regents US in NYS) that are an incredible resource as well. Any history student would benefit from their review books.

Chon I have read many many different review books and have tried to use them to prepare myself for the AP US History Test. However, I often felt that all the review books were as long as the textbooks and filled with a bunch of useless information. To avoid this I purchased the "No Bull Review" and am grateful to have found it. The "No Bull Review" , is the ONLY review book out there that will get straight to the point. Here are some great aspects of the book:1. Cheap - $5.99 for a review book? Compare that with $16.99 for the Princeton Review. Don't mistake the low price for low quality. Even if this book suddenly became more expensive than the Princeton Review, I would still recommend it.2. Short - This review book has everything you need to get a 5, but it is not fluffed up. The best word to describe it is "concise." The book on my Kindle Fire It gets straight to the point and is specifically geared for the AP Exam. This book seriously consists of "no bull". A quick read will only take two to three days.3. Simple - This noble review book (pun intended) is one of the only few review books out there that is not excessively ornated with higher level language to impress readers. In a conversational tone that keeps you interested, the book is easily readable and does not require a dictionary.4. Navigable - The No Bull Review Sheet included in this book will almost guarantee you a 4 or 5 on the AP Test, that is if you study it. Furthermore, the No Bull Review Sheet (as an e-book)requires almost no time flipping pages back and forth for questions and answers. With this navigable book, you can review the whole curriculum within two to three days.5. Geared for the AP Test - This book is not the "American Pageant" or Alan Brinkley's "Survey of American History." It is not one thousand pages full of politically correct (for example, including equal amount information on women as men) information on the course of the United States. The No Bull Review gives you what you need for the AP Test. Everything you need to get a 5 on the AP Test is in here. This book feels almost like a teacher is giving you the answers for the AP Test. Quite simply, the book is almost like the answer key to the AP test. Just study the material and any student can be fine with this book. I am anxiously waiting for the hard copy to be released. This book is recommended to all AP US History Students and anyone who is interested in a real review of the curriculum.Extras: I recently found the author's website and it contains some really good information to further your learning of the AP US Course. [...]I hope this review convinces you to buy the e-book.Happy studying!

What an excellent addition to the library of a busy, high achieving AP student. The material is presented in a clear, concise format; hitting on ALL points relevant to the extremely challenging AP test. The review tests are also a great study tool. I highly recommend this to all, not just advanced placement American History students.
