4 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Cute By Talvi So Cute It Hurts is the story of twins Mitsuru and Megumo and their romantic comedy antics at school. It's silly and cute (as the title implies) but admittedly the plot is fairly pedestrian. Sweet but innocent girl, showy brother, mean girl and flashy guy at school and a lot of situational comedy. The art is sweet and this is definitely a feel-good title.Story: Megumu and Mitsuru are twins. One day, they decide to trade places and through the magic of wigs, no one figures out in their high schools. When both meet the girl/boy of their dreams, they are not sure how they are going to reveal their crushes while cosplaying each other. Especially when the objects of their interest each like someone else.The author has a lot of fun crossing romantic threads here: Mitsuru makes an enemy of popular girl Azusa, who then gets a crush on him. But Mitsuru likes Shino Takenaka. Shino likes Aoi Sanada; but Sanada is the guy that Megumu suddenly likes. Most of the first book is introducing the characters, getting to know the two love interests (Takenaka is deaf, Sanada wears an eye patch) and learning how to communicate with them. Mean girls and rowdy boys make each of the twins' lives difficult.Although I didn't find much of interest here, I imagine that there are many who will really like this kind of cute story. Life isn't always greener for the other person gender By Paul Jutras When Mitsuru is in danger of failing his classes in the all boys school he attends he makes his twin sister swap places with him. Life isn't so much a breeze pretending to be a girl in a co-ed school as he thought as he comes to terms with the concept of Mean Girls and finding someone who might be his true soul mate. While the class work is no problem for Meg life isn't much easier as dressed like a guy she has to hide her feelings to the soul mate of her own she meets in her brothers school. At romantic comedy dealing with true love and the meaning of true friendship.

It was good By Jude ~3.5/5I’m not even sure what I was expecting with this series anymore, but I was a bit surprised.This is about twins Megumu and Mitsuru. Mitsuru goes to an all-boys school, and when he starts failing in one of his subjects, he forces Megumu to switch places with him for a week. And on the first day, Mitsuru falls in love with a deaf girl, and gets Megumu in trouble with her popular supermodel classmate. While Megumu has to deal with the consequence of real Mitsuru hitting on a classmates girlfriend, and also falling in love with a boy with an eye-patch.I’m intrigued, mostly. Mitsuru is a playboy with a big ego, and he’s in the kendo club. He’s learning how to tone that down, though, and use it for good, when he falls in love. And the girl he likes is a sweetheart. I like that he’s learning sign language to communicate with her.Megumu is a lot of fun; she’s very girly and peppy, a bit of a crybaby, but I like her a lot. The guy she likes has a bit of a hard outside, but I think I’m going to like him as well.There seems to be a bit of a mystery going on, there’s the cross-dresser element, twins, plus the love interests. The humor is very exaggerated, and it's a bit much at times; I'm hoping it calms down a little. I wasn’t expecting both twins to get so much attention and their own love interests, and that this is going to bring the twins closer together.
