I love how the author Angela Johnson gives you many different ways to say thank you for the gift or service that was given. The thank you note it seems is almost becoming a forgotten art and it's hard with all the technology to send out a handwritten thank you note, but it should be done and Angela gives great examples on doing just that in a very heartfelt and genuine way. I highly recommend this book. I as a party/event planner will be using this book to help give the brides I work with as well as others whose events involve receiving gifts, such as baby showers a way to show their genuine thanks for a gift. Angela even provides ways for you to say a heartfelt thanks for a gift that you didn't like, which is hard to do, but she makes it look easy! Receiving a physical Letter, Card or Note of thanks feels even warmer and special now that we live in this so called "connected" digital world. Thank You Notes: Template and Tips, goes back to the wonderful world of writing and specifically, creating written works of gratitude. Whether the occasion is for Weddings, Family and Friends or even people you don't know or like, the book has simple, effective writing templates for you to use. The great thing is, the templates can be used for the more personal physical letters or even the lifeless world of emails. Whatever the occsion or mood, the book has you covered in a solid reference guide that is short and sweet.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. A very useful book! By bunnygirl I have trouble writing thank you notes. I'll often put them off because I don't know what to say. Well, I have no excuse now. And, it's almost fun just plugging in a few thoughtful lines from this book. This book helps you write thank-yous even for awkward situations like receiving a gift you're not crazy about (still deserves a thank you), to receiving a gift from someone you don't know very well. A hand-written note is so personal in a world of mostly electronic communication like e-mails, Facebook and Twitter. So, sending a thank you really shows another person you appreciate them. The suggestions in this book on what to write are very useful! This definitely is a five-star book, and is a book that everyone can use!

Or if you do not write thank you notes as you think you don't know how this book is for you too. And if you do write thank you notes, but would like to maybe add a little spark and get some inspiration for the next batch you send out this book will be of value also.Sweet little handbook with clear instructions and ideas on sending thank you notes. And who to send them too!
