Along with her amazing training classes, this book is a comprehensive guide to her End Of Life Doula (itself an innovative use of an old word) Program. In addition to the specific information contained in the book (of which there's too much to summarize), one can't help but tangibly feel her incredible passion and total dedication that comes through with every page she writes. However, don't let that overshadow the vast amount of valuable information that's provided here for those seeking to learn this program . Along with her training classes, Suzanne is revolutionizing the whole concept of end of life care. Those at the end of life (and their caregivers) will never have a greater advocate than Suzanne, and this book is essential reading for those seeking to learn. Highly recommended.

By Christina Guzman Written in clear and concise language, Suzanne approaches the subject comfortably and introduces it on many levels so those looking into the field get comfortable immediately as well. Always stressing the importance of the caregivers work, she helped me solidify my mission and vision for my end of life practice(s). One could not find a better starter on the how and why of compassionate dying. It is a much needed conversation in our country at this time; Suzanne brings us to it with clarity and grace.
