45 of 48 people found the following review helpful. Cute arranged marriage story By English teacher I love arranged marriage stories and this one had a nice twist. Deanna and Mitchell agree to an arranged marriage. Deanna is trying to help her beloved grandmother to fix up their family home. Mitchell wants to help his family too, for a different reason so they marry, for just six months. The story is told in dual POVs. I like that because then I can feel more for the characters. Also they are not perfect people. Mitchell is described as taking the easy route, kind of a lazy, but charming fellow. Deanna is a sweet girl, but has a very proper side that doesn't appeal to Mitchell. They have such different viewpoints about love and what relationships mean so that makes for some interesting tension between the characters. The story is short and sweet but very enjoyable. I love the author's style and this was a fun story to read. I highly recommend it. I was given an ARC for an honest review.

I think that the story could have been developed much further to include more situations in life that they had to work together to solve a problem. It seemed like so much of the book just glanced over things that occurred outside their home. The questioning of feelings was repeated so many times using the same verbiage that it almost became boring in the middle. Also, the many spelling and grammar mistakes make it more difficult to read. There is even one point in chapter 12 where Deanna is standing up to her grandmother that a word was left out of the sentence which completely changed the context.
