I'm a criminal defense attorney, so I use it to avoid always lugging the big code book around.Pros:Very handy as an attorney for showing clients different elements of offenses and what needs to be proven.Contains 18.2 criminal code and 46.2 traffic code.Gives some case notes.Gives some phrases in Spanish. Handy for either a police officer or lawyer with Spanish-speaking clients.Cons:Some code sections are not neatly broken up; it almost looks like you have 5 of the same code section (like for the fraud offenses).There is no juvenile code material. If you are a police officer (and this book was designed for them), then you need to know when and how you can take a kid into custody. If you're an attorney and you have this book in lieu of carrying around the big, heavy VA Criminal and Traffic Law manual, then you're out of luck.19.2 Criminal Procedure is not in here. That sucks, because you have to look that stuff up on your smartphone or tablet and disasters can happen when you have those on in court (noise).Overall, the book could be better, but is a solid "B".
