The author explains what each of the menu settings does as well as what default settings to use in setting up the radio. If you own this radio you should own this book! For the price you cannot afford not to.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Great Hand-Held Radio By R&D Great hand-held radio. User documentation is a little thin, but tons of information available on-line and on YouTube. This is not a toy or child's radio, but has serious features and capabilities, and functions in the HAM/Armature radio bands. Please note - these are sold individually, and a second must be purchased for two-way communications. This is not a big problem as their price is very reasonable for what you are getting, plus - there are a LOT of things you can do with only one. Highly recommend, and would buy again.
