Gritty, hard hitting By Angie This book was a little out of my usual genre choice and the content of the first story in particular is not for the faint hearted. It is graphic and the subject of peadophile will not be for everyone. That said, it is a meaty read that you need to concentrate on. There is a lot of detail and exposition that for me was a little heavy to get through. However, the story will appeal to lovers of this genre and is well executed.
9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. that said ---- it was good enough to entice reading to the sudden end By Bevan The Child TakerThis rather brief book may take some concentration to read as it jumps locale and characters with virtually every chapter - embellished with a light dusting of grammatical glitches.The author tends to insert rather a lot of extraneous detail; including what could be assumed is an intention to shock with graphic, gory detail but it's laid on so heavily that it just becomes 'ho-hum'.STILL, that said ---- it was good enough to entice reading to the sudden end!Slow BurnThis tale also tends to not only continually jump locales and characters, but, also, leaps many years (back and forth) in bounds. It would have been more logical if told chronologically.Again, there's lots of extraneous detail to wade through.BUT - again .... basically a good story.Perhaps consider an independent editor to tighten up the plots, correct questionable logistical glitches and cater to the reader better?
