People you thought were just a passing character had a vital role to play. The narrator had to be my favorite. Just a fly on the wall of life. I look forward to more from this author.

I liked all the character descriptions because they were written in a way that the reader could identify with. There were a few areas that I personally would have liked to know more about such as who was the narrator? I had hoped this person would have become involved at least at the conclusion and I would have also liked to know the story of how Hannah and Connor reached there final destination as this book is listed as a romance I felt this omission was lacking in the overall storyline. Also, what the hell happened to Kane after Megan's revenge? There was some closure from some characters but not the characters I wanted.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. This is a keeper! Fantastic read. By Myra I just finished this a bit ago. I am still breathless. I've read many reviews of this story and some I agree with and most I do not. Grammatical errors, a few, knowing who the narrator is, isn't necessary. Just knowing the story is being told by an obvious observer is enough. The character development from the very beginning was fantastic. A little about each one to begin with and as the story goes along a little more about them is uncovered. This was a beautifully written story. All the events, the people, everything from the scenery to the snowflakes had a place that was important to the story itself and Ms. Bera told it magnificently. I was so taken with the story and the people that I found myself talking to myself during the reading. My husband is still shaking his head about that. Most of my comments were along the lines of "You idiot, what the hell are you thinking", "Oh no, nononono", Oh man! C'mon, not him too!" Those along with half a box of tissues from the crying I did, has just left me.....winded! It's got everything. Mystery and suspense, horror (finely done) romance (bittersweet), action, happiness, sadness, a sense of completion in spots. Nothing else I can say except that for anyone interested in the Paranormal, Fantasy, Murder/Mystery, Suspense and Thriller genre, THIS should be required reading!
