Promises From God ~101 By Colleen Hurgon I had purchased this box of "Promises From God" For Women, to put aside in my items for upcoming birthdays, special occasions or a "Just because gift " however finding that I was in need of some soul uplifting, I decided to open these 101 little promises. They are very nice, from the box to EVERY 101 card. The box itself is very well designed, strong, sturdy & colorful. The cards are colorful and as thick as regular playing cards. Each card has a uplifting message on one side and a bible verse on the opposite side. You can keep or singularly give the cards out. The box is small enough to fit in your purse, take them with you on your trips out. You can pass some out to the women at your church. Or on your shopping trips, set a limit of 5 or 10 each outing and give them to strangers even if they don't look like they need any encouragement or uplifting words. Guaranteed to bring a smile to someone's face & heart. You can also enclose one of these cards in Get Well, Thank you, Thinking of you, and birthday cards etc. Share the love of God! These would have been great when my kids were still young, have your children to take the cards and give them out at a nursing home, not only do the elderly love children but they also love even the smallest gesture of kindness. These little cards for sure deserve a 5 Star!

The packaging and art are lovely and each card has a scripture on one side and an encouraging, succinct thought on the other side. I am having fun when friends are over, making them pick a card, any card. It's amazing then, how the card they select is the perfect, fitting encouragement they need for that moment. I'm keeping extra boxes of these around as an impromptu gift, for those moments when my friend really needs to keep her card. Then she gets more than the card. She gets the whole box, a complete set of cards, and hopefully she will have as much fun with them, for the girls and women and who come into her home.

It was worth the wait! Perfect for what I wanted it for. I am always on the lookout for small flat items to add into the cards I make up for friends, especially those doing chemo treatments. These are very pretty with a nice saying on one side and a scripture on the other side. I probably should order more while they are back in stock. :)
