About the Author MARC COSENTINO: For the past two decades Marc Cosentino's work has towered over the field of case interviews. The Wall Street Journal calls his book Case in Point the MBA Bible which is one of the many reasons why Cosentino is the world's foremost authority on case interviewing. He is CEO of CaseQuestions.com and a popular and sought after speaker. Over the past 25 years he has advised and coached over 100,000 students and alumni. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Solid book and framework By Anuj Kadyan Analysis of graphs is one of the core elements of consulting interviews. It's important to interpret data accurately, but it is even more important to understand the full story behind the graph and get to the "so-what" quickly. This book focuses on helping you master this core aspect of with a solid framework and a nice selection of graphs. The 8 cases are really good, too, providing good practice on graph interpretation. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in management consulting - Associate Principal at one of the top 3 consulting firms

I was recommended to buy this book and start using cases and graph analysis as a way to hire Associates in investment banking. Totally amazed by what I learned and I would strongly recommend to hiring managers as well as people applying for roles requiring interpretation of graphs....not just in consulting, but in investment banking too. Additionally, I was surprised to pick up a lot of new ways to think about data presentation, so has benefits beyond just studying for interviews.

By Josh As a former BCG consultant and now working in executive management, the ability to extract insights from various sources of data is a foundational skill. I certainly wish a guide like Case In Point was available when I started as a consultant. I bought the book now to reinforce my skills and have made it required reading for those on my team.
