I felt transported into another time and place as Brenawyn is pursued by the gods who believe her to be the prophesied Druid high priestess. The vivid descriptions of her pursuit are mesmerizing and her emotions are palpable. I could feel her desperation, disbelief and primal fear as she resists the powers that pursue her. I could easily picture the imagery of spells being cast and broken.The book is superbly crafted and will keep you turning the pages to discover her fate. Settle into your favorite place and be ready to read well into the night. The cliffhanger at the end will have you eagerly anticipating the next book.I can easily imagine Fate's Hand as a movie!

The author is certainly eloquent with her words. I have even learned some Gaelic phrases. It's difficult to put down the book, since you are on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next to Brenawyn. I loved Leoncha's "prune face" and Aunt Mary's rolling up of her pants.Looking forward to Book Two of The Celtic Prophecy to find out what becomes of Brenawyn and what her new found life holds in store for her.

It has lots of action---some of it gory, romantic tension, an attractive protagonist for whom the reader is rooting, quite a bit of Celtic lore and a few surprises. In my opinion it is a very good debut novel. I hope we soon get to read the other two books in The Celtic Prophecy!

Funniest Calendar Out There By IBALD I've given this calendar to my family as a gift for several years now and it is still one of the funniest desk calendars available today. Some of the content is not meant for young children and should probably be rated PG-13 but overall my wife and I LOL when we flip through it. We still have the old calendars and pull them out whenever we need a good laugh.

There is some trivia stuff included for extra bonus. I like the fact that the paper is good quality and lends a crisp look. Happy to have bought it.

The prompts are enough to get you going without being overly detailed--they aren't so in-depth as to stifle your creativity. Nor are they short or generic. They are good ideas, good beginnings, that offer a starting point for writers. We can all go in very different directions with them. I'm trying to work my way through them chronologically (in the order they appear) but I have skimmed ahead and they all seem interesting. I look forward to getting to write for them all.
