I know it's mass produced so the messages in it aren't quite as personal as ones that are handwritten, but they do reflect beautifully how I actually feel about my sister. Each month has some message that is really touching and that I would choose on my own to say/write to my sister.The calendar is monotone -- only black and white -- but the font style and the cute drawings make it feel very expressive and pretty. Adding color to it might actually have made it too kitschy, and made it feel like it was intended for teenage girls. I am happy with my purchase and would probably buy more items like it.
